SCA plans approved - residents fight on

11.58.09am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 25th Apr 2005

The paper giant SCAs plans for a new international distribution centre in Low Prudhoe that will be over 40m tall were approved despite a record level of objections from residents of Prudhoe and Ovingham. Local Lib Dem Councillor Donna Bradbury voted against the plans.

The residents have vowed to fight on however and are having a meeting at 7.30 at Prudhoe Methodist church on Friday, 29th April. Be there if you are interested in this issue.
