Prudhoe a Labour free zone as Lib Dems Triumph

The local elections for the new council in Northumberland saw big changes as Labour lost all their seats in the Tynedale area, with Neil Bradbury winning in Prudhoe West and the Lib Dems emerging as the biggest party. The full result in Prudhoe West was:

78% back bridge

As Prudhoe Lib Dems online poll closes, we can exclusively reveal that 78% have voted that they would like a new bridge and road link from Prudhoe to the A9. "This is not surprising to me, Prudhoe people want this to happen and it reinforces the need for all council staff and councillors to redouble their efforts to get this improvements."
